China and Thailand

The Chinese continue with their mania for building infrastructures in their immediate regions.
Here they include the building of a high speed railway from China, through Laos, Thailand and Malaysia that will eventually go all the way to Singapore. As for the US, its influence is fading and, as this article points out, all its “front” organizations in the world are not going to stop it.
