Think Coops Only Work at the Local Level? Think Again!

For over 50 year the Cecosesola cooperative in Venezuela has served over 100,000 people. It has survived when Venezuela was a peripheral capitalist country and it continues to thrive under socialist Venezuela. It is like a general store. It  provides food, healthcare, financial and even funeral services and does so without traditional management structures.
