Six out of seven oil refineries are on strike in France as the workers are protesting against inflation. In other parts of Europe economies are crippled by energy shortages, the resurgence of the pandemic as well as the cost of the war NATO is inflicting on Russia. Do not count on the CGT (Communist Party of France) to spread and deepen the strike. It has been trying to negotiate with the French state. It has the possibility to mobilize 700,000 workers and bring down Macron. The article says the CGT will not do this because the leadership is in bed with oil the corporations.
