It is certainly fair to say that human societies today are interdependent economically and technologically. But the weaknesses of interdependence are revealed when a country like Mordor imposes sanctions, not understanding the consequences for its own country, let alone any other countries. In order for US nuclear reactors to keep working they need uranium. But twenty percent of its uranium comes from Russia and without it, its nuclear power plants will be cut off. Continued US sanctions will result in crippling its own nuclear power plants.
