The geopolitical shift towards what Andre Gunder Frank called “The Asian Age” continues as Saudi Arabia will likely be selling its oil using the Yuan-Ruble payment mechanism. This, combined with a deal the Saudis made with Russia for military support adds to increasing unwillingness of traditional US allies to continue to tow the line dictated by the quickly declining empire.
