Most of us would agree that if we want a revolution the working class must be involved. But finding out out what is actually going on inside and outside of unions is not always easy. Labor Notes does at least 4 things beautifully: it speaks to efforts being made towards rank-and file democracy; it presents all union struggles as class struggles; it gives a once-a-month overview of what’s happening all over the country; and it has conferences in different cities in the US to unite rank-and-file activists.
