Calvinists and Myopic Capitalists are Wrong: Less Work Yields More Productivity!

A Calvinist saw work as divine and the more work the better. Myopic capitalists, for different reasons, agreed. For them more work means more surplus labor. But as this article briefly points out, too much work leads to less productivity. The results of Swedes transitioning to a 6 hour day has resulted in higher reports of job satisfaction, lower turnover and, higher profits.
