The European Union continues to weaken and China proposes infrastructural projects for Central and Eastern Europe. With Greece deeply in debt, Spain having a secession problem on its hands and with the increasing instability of Italian banks it’s hard to find a country for whom the European Union works. Even Germany, the center of the EU is having major socio-economic problems in forming a government. It makes political and economic sense that Central and Eastern European countries look elsewhere.
