For some of the more radical members of workers cooperatives, using any capitalist terms to describe them is a slippery slope back into capitalism.
But the use of these terms to describe private capitalist countries can not only help us understand capitalism better but also understand: a) how these terms will actually expand our understanding of worker-coops; and b) understand when we need to develop new terminology because worker coops are producing processes that are fundamentally different from capitalist processes.
