This book updates the work of Murray Bookchin’s social ecology to include municipal organizers in Barcelona to permaculturists in Massachusetts and, most notably, Kurdish militants in Turkey in Rojava.
It continues and deepens the discussion Murray raised about power and our dialectical relationship to nature. The author’s book is called Practicing Social Ecology: From Bookchin to Rojava and Beyond.
