Sanctions Lifted on Arms Embargo to Vietnam: US China Pivot Machination

Here are at least three reasons for the lifting of the decades-long embargo on the US sale of arms to Vietnam:

a) to arm Vietnam in its disputes with China over the South Seas

b) to have access later on to oil and gas reserves

c) to build the TPP bonds with Vietnam against China
