Europe was once the home of merchant and industrial capitalism – the Italians, Dutch, British – long before the United States. But after World War II, this changed. Europe has been controlled economically by the Marshall Plan, NATO and now the European Union. This article shows that, far from being the creation of Europeans, the European Union was the brainchild of the CIA.
