When anarchists bring up the political way tribal societies made decisions, by using direct democracy, the typical rebuttals are that while it might be fine for small societies, for “complex societies” it isn’t realistic. Well, if we look around the world today in capitalist “representative democracy” we see across the broad that representation is hardly democratic.
