Is Assassination of Russian Ambassador the Hidden Hand of West?

When political assassinations occur in what world-systems theorists call “the periphery” they are presented as the result of political conflict. But when assassinations occur in “core” states like this one, assassins are presented as apolitical acts of psychologically unstable individuals. This article argues that the assassination of the Russian ambassador was politically motivated by the western defeat in Syria.
