Here is a refreshing short article that throws down the gauntlet. It exposes the tension between the motives of upper middle-class people who come to work in cooperatives and the motives of poor and working class members. It also points out that the class structure of capitalism is often reproduced within the co-op, with the upper middle class people in positions to make the most money, while congratulating themselves that they are “doing good”.
