30,000 people marched to support the workers against Pepsi-Co’s closure of their Buenos Aires plant and the layoff of 600 workers. Rather than come to an agreement with Pepsi-Co, they are demanding the plant be re-opened. Pepsi-Co plans to re-open the plant in a few months and use workers from temp agencies. Once again, capitalism is being called out for exactly what it is – inhuman exploitation in the name of higher profits.
