During a political process of regime change in the U.S. it is easy to get caught up with either the candidates, themselves, or the sector of the population that supports them. This article is useful not only because it compares the electoral processes in the U.S against other industrial capitalist countries, but it measures these differences according to objective standards most industrial capitalist countries would agree with. The results ain’t pretty!
