It has often been said the the strength of a country is only as good as the strength of its weakest link. Migrant workers, whether immigrants or refugees, do some of the hardest, most dangerous and lowest paying work. Yet all that work is necessary for the wealth of society. Which country understands this best in terms of the Coronavirus? It is not the self-proclaimed leaders of the Eurozone, Germany or Italy, but Portugal.
