If you’ve taken courses in US history or basic economics, sooner or later you are told a story about how capitalism works. You build and makes things that people can use, they pay for it and you reap the profits. Well China is doing just that. All the while American capitalists play with derivatives, stock options and credit swaps and produce nothing, China is not only out-maneuvering the west, but it’s building geopolitical ties that will not be easily broken.
