This is a wonderful overview of six decades of worker co-ops in the United States. For the first forty years or so, co-ops were separate and many didn’t know of each other’s existence.
This changed in 2004 when the US Federation of Worker Coops was founded. Now co-ops not only know of each other’s existence but actively help each other. The article names the times, places and industry of all co-ops. They discuss the major controversies and how they were resolved.
