It may be hard to believe, but wage increases were higher in 2021 for workers who were NOT in unions (5.3%) than for those who were (3.3%). Unions have shrunk in popularity as they represent only 6% of all workers not in government jobs. 85% of union revenue comes from dues. What do workers get? Strike funds average .05% of union revenues. Meanwhile there is plenty of money for union bureaucrats who live upper-middle class lifestyles in the top 10% of the country while they cahoot with the Democratic Party.
