It’s time Americans wake up and go after the many organizations and institutions that make sexual harassment and abuse possible by protecting the abusers and ignoring the complaints. Notice how little media attention has been given to the scandal plaguing USA Gymnastics. This is a systemic, not an individual problem, as US gymnast Aly Raisman so powerfully stated in her recent court speech directed at her abuser, former US gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.
