Veteran’s Day was November 11. While everyone was busy celebrating by having time off from work and posting “Thank you for your service” on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, many veterans were – and will be – still paying the cost of that service.
These soldiers have been paid, not very much, to protect corporate interests all over the globe rather than to protect the U.S. itself. “Unfortunately, the mission of the U.S. armed forces is not to defend the country, but to protect and expand the far-flung empire.”
