This is a good article on how a small group of people was able to build a solidarity economy across five boroughs of New York and linked together organizations with no previous connection. It shows not just the successes, but the mistakes and the dead ends as well. We remain cynical that the interest of “policymakers” and institutes like the Rockefeller Foundation is a good sign. These organizations are desperate for “fresh ideas” to keep their capitalist ship from sliding into the bog.
