This is a very interesting article which frames competing visions for 21st century socialism. It refers to books which explain each vision. The one thing we found missing is the place of an independent political party in these economic ventures. One of the authors has written a book called Anarchist Accounting. This is important because it suggests how decentralized planning can actually work!
