It has not been easy for worker cooperatives to get loans from banks because their structure is unusual and banks are suspicious of them. In this article the authors describe how coops should pitch themselves to banks. The good news, though is that there are now financial institutions that coops have set up that specificly lend to coops. There is a cool table in the article that shows the name of the institution, how much the loan was for as well as the conditions for paying it back.
