The bankruptcy of the Democratic Party to stand for anything but the interests of the ruling class shows itself predictably whenever there is a militant strike. As for unions, are they the leading edge of militancy in fighting for better, long-lasting standards of living? What unions say is “get back to work, you are lucky to have a job!” Let’s hope the strike leads to something far more ambitious.
