Abandoning the Ship of Empire: Former Allies Turn To Russia

As this article points out, almost everyday there is some country, whether large or small, that challenges or refuses to go along with U.S. foreign policy. Recently the Philippines and India are investing in military defense with Russia. In Turkey forces are working with Russia on a stream pipeline. In Germany Merkel confirms the Russian Nord Stream pipeline into Germany while other German officials call for a new financial payment system. It is not hard to understand why the Yankee oligarchs and their military brass are so desperate for war.
